Behavior
A lone Concavenator is very self centered, but they are always willing to find others to pack with. Together they work as a team, moving as one unit. They are utterly devoted and loyal to their pack members, and spend most of their down time reaffirming their bond, strengthening and learning from one another. It has been speculated that a pack is only as strong as their weakest bond. Each Concas place in the pack is determined by the trust their packmates have in each other, with the lead being the most faithful, and the least trusted being denoted the straggler of the group. Each pack member pulls their weight, they train, learn, and grow from one another. The stronger their bond the more dangerous their pack. A lone Concavenator will appear out of thin air when it detects the smell of a corpse and scavenge, only to disappear as quickly as it appeared.
Recommended behaviors
╸Concavenators usually appear as a cold and selfish and do not need a group around them to survive
╸Concavenators do not prefer any water source over the other, they can be found hanging out near salt or freshwater.
╸These small semi-aquatic dinosaurs will sometimes hang around both Spinosaurus and Suchomimus in search of protection and an easy meal.
╸They prefer hunting mostly Camptosaurus, Deinonychus and Dilophosaurus.
Mating
Concavenators mate for life and their courtship is a long process of bonding with each other. When a Concavenator pair meet and click, they will become hunters together behind the main pack to strengthen their bond and learn each other’s habits. For a year or more they follow each other around, growing and becoming better hunters together. Once they have learned everything they can from each other they set to work building their pack. Occasionally, these pairs know each other from as young as adolescence, and pursue each other upon adulthood.
Nesting & offspring
When the bonded pair is ready to nest the entire pack will find a secluded place far from danger. The more trusted the pair, the better the place and the protection from the rest of the pack. There they will all construct the nest, taking turns hunting, guarding, and incubating. Once born hatchlings are taught the importance of silence, often by the adults nipping at them when they get too loud. They are taken from their secluded area when they hit adolescence for their first hunt. As adults they are chased from the pack to either join another pack or become scavengers.
