Behaviors in nature

Out of all the Ceratopsians, Albertaceratops is by far the most calm. Preferring to live a life of grazing from pasture to pasture, consuming copious amounts of vegetation as they meander about. These usually unassuming animals love to be in the presence of other Ceratopsians especially Eotriceratops & Styracosaurus and will even stay close to bands of other types of Herbivore's just to be social. Generally Albertaceratops are among the nicest creatures roaming the world. Though unlike most other dinosaurs, these titans in particular hold a deep rage within themselves, one which Albertaceratops even directs into deadly revenge. Albertaceratops Possess a keen memory of all the dinosaurs whom have hunted them or their kin, and will become enraged when they spot these predators in the wild.

Social Behaviour

Albertaceratops love to be surrounded by each other, rarely ever being seen alone, they'll even form bands with other Ceratopsians. Among all the Ceratopsian species Albertaceratops are the most calm, even around other animals they aren't exactly likely to start fights though they will end them. These majestic dinosaurs are very loyal towards one another, and even mourn other Albertaceratops. Albertaceratops have been observed regularly pairing up with both Styracosaurus and Eotriceratops, allowing the two more aggressive Ceratopsids to worry about defense while it grazes freely. If a fight were to break out though the mighty Albertaceratops would join the combat to avenge its herdmates.

Recommended behaviors

╸Often migrates in search of the best foods.
╸Albertaceratops love large groups and are rarely seen alone.
╸Stomp and paw at the ground when it sees predators that have hunted it before.

Courtship

Albertaceratops form massive herds alongside other ceratopsians for breeding rights, occasionally with a few confused males getting mixed in with Styra herds in their gusto. Bullfights between Albertaceratops are typically made out of intimidation, with bellowing roars, pawing at the ground, and stomps. Blows are rarely exchanged except from the most rowdy males, but these conflicts end in seconds. If they extend any longer, the aggressive male is typically chased out by the females, and they typically choose the loudest, healthiest, and largest male. Pairings are typically monogamous, and once a female choses a male, they depart from the horde.

Nesting & offspring

Once the mating season is over males will leave, forming into temporary bachelor bands, while the females raise the young in a massive colony. Females will raise her young to sub adult, once of age they will either kick the offspring out of the herd if they are too aggressive, or they will accept them. As hatchlings they are loud, playful and full of energy. They are curious in their first two stages of life, it is not until they become adolescent that males start to play-fight, either forcing females to play or playing with other young males. Typically none of these calves have any sense of danger or rage, as such they often wander to close to predators meaning it's a full time job defending the growing Albertaceratops.
